Most of you by now that Dr. Brian Harvick was diagnosed with leukemia last year & is in Seattle under going bone marrow transplant. If you wish to bring notes or cards to the office, we will send them out a couple times a week to his new temporary digs in Seattle for you.
His bone marrow has seated & began producing white blood cells & numorous other cells I can't pronounce. He is out of the hospital & recoperating at his apartment. Things are going well for him.
The clinic is open & fully operational to meet all your pets needs. We currently have 3 veterinarians on staff to serve you. Dr. Scanlan on Mondays, Dr. Howarth on Tuesdays, and Dr. Costner on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. You may call & schedule your appointments at any time. If you prefer to see one of our doctors specially, let us know & we will do our best to schedule at the appropriate time. Got to get back to "work". Bubba & staff
Doctor Brian Harvick earned his degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of CA at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from Davis in June 1975, Dr. Harvick practiced in Redding, CA for three years before opening the Shasta Lake Veterinary Clinic in October 1978. Dr. Harvick enjoys all areas of small animal medicine and surgery and has special interest in the practice of Veterinary Dentistry. Dr. Harvick is a member of the American, CA and Northern CA Veterinary Medical Associations and of the Association of Veterinary Dentistry.
Dr. Harvick - Brian, was born in Illinois, raised in the Bay Area below San Francisco, and moved to Northern CA after graduating from Veterinary School. Brian is married to Jeanette and has two grown children raised in Shasta Lake and one currently attending Central Valley High School. Their family at home includes their three dogs - Nalani, Ollie & Maisy -, three cats - Delilah, Betty & Amy - & Specky the rabbit.
Brian enjoys gardening, camping, the guitar, astronomy, the area we live in, and his family time.
